Mr. Jan Verlinden (1969, Genk) graduated in jurisprudence at the Katholieke Universiteit in Leuven in 1994. Since 1994, he has been a constant presence at Adlex, even though the office had another name at that time (Gilkens-Panis office). In 2003, he became a member of cvba Adlex Advocaten. He specialises on files involving contract law and debtor management. Since 2010, he was also Office Manager. This position was taken over by Mr Jean-Claude Van Rode in June 2012. Jan Verlinden was a member of the Order of Lawyers in Tongeren from 2002 to 2007 and, in 2008, was also a member of the Algemene Vergadering van de Orde van Vlaamse Balies (General Assembly for the Order of Flemish Bars). He had a seat on the town council of Genk from 2001 to 2003 and married Lydia Peeters, mayor of Dilsen-Stokkem since 2001 and Flemish MP since 2009. He is a member of Rotary Maasland-Lanklaar.
